Fast forward to Spring festival season. There are some of our local favorites on the schedule this year like Mudbug Madness in Shreveport, but the Grandaddy of all festivals in Louisiana is the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival! http://www.nojazzfest.c om/ April 26th marks our 29th consecutive performance at this event, but this one is extra special because we have the great honor of having the Queen, Queen Ida as our featured special guest! She is one amazing woman and toured the globe as a highly respected representative for our music genre. We tip our hats and applaud her for all of her accomplishments. In 2012 her Grammy turned 30 and we thought it was time to bring her home to be properly recognized in her home state. Big thanks to Quint Davis and his staff for assisting us with that!
