Mos def thrilled to be returning to this event! The last time was 2011 and we appreciate the opportunity the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation give their roots artists year round. Not only do they present LA Cajun and Zydeco music every single year at Jazzfest, but they also give these music genres another chance to shine all on their own. They believe that the Cajun & Zydeco music of SoLA is an important part of the cultural identity of LA. And we agree. You too? Wondering if we have we made our annual donation to the foundation? If not, we’re all over it. Special thanks to festival program director Scott Aiges, the foundation board and Executive Director, Don Marshall for all they do for their community.
