Just had to share. So many beautiful images of the kidz from Slavutych Camp, August 1, 2015. Each one of these experiences transforms us as artists. Thank you again to our friends at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv for another rare and wonderful opportunity to visit this amazing allied country to represent American roots music. #UnitedForUkraine. We had just left Russia, had performed at another summer camp for gifted students, and we had a young man approach us, give out coins to all of us stating “I heard you were going to Ukraine after this, and I wanted to give you this money so you would spend it when you got there to help their economy.” Another mind blowing, transformative moment for us. The future looks bright with bright young minds like this leading the way.
