Hello 2016! Looking back for just another minute though.

Just want to savor a few more of the wonderful memories from last year! Welcoming a New Year comes with so many happy memories and the possibilities of what lies ahead,  but our lives and careers are not a 24 hour news cycle so we cannot possibly just race into the new year without pausing to remember, embrace and enjoy the many experiences we had over the past 12 months and 32 years! Sometimes we are so busy in the moment that it takes a little time to catch up on all the memories we made over the weeks, months and years.Of course saying good bye to the year that passed also comes with a few sad moments, especially as we reflect on those we lost, and regretfully there were too many last year. Allen Toussaint and BB King were two huge losses for music and it’s hard to imagine New Orleans or Jazzfest without Allen.  We feel forever grateful for the time we spent with him on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise in October though. So very grateful, as it was only a short 10 days later that he passed away while on tour in Spain. Our deepest condolences to his children and family. Two great gentleman who were extremely gifted, gracious and kind. King, Keith Sonnier, and Terrance, Telluride Blues & Brews And did we mention how grateful we are to all of you for being part of these reflections, memories and the whole wild experience?! True story y’all! Now let the racing off into the new year begin! New York City here we come; Terrance and Cynthia will attend the annual APAP performing arts conference. They’ll reconnect with performing arts presenters from around the globe and plan to share their music and culture. Here’s a fun little sumthin, a Terrance APAP welcome! video for conference attendees. Conference season officially started in September 2015 at Arts Midwest and PAE that were held in Kansas City and Baltimore. We are proud sponsors of Arts Midwest and also had several performance showcases at that conference in KC. Cynthia will also attend IPAY in Montreal this month-we were once sponsors of this conference as well when it was in Austin several years back. We paid the cost of bus transportation for a group of elementary students to attend a performance of another artist who showcased at the conference! That’s how committed we are; to our students and arts presenters who program performances for students, youth and family. Cheers to YOU and to the endless possibilities the New Year will bring to you and yours!
