Garden & Gun with “it’s controversial name”* and Soul of the South hook, (which we really dig), recently named Breaux Bridge, Louisiana Best Small Town Food city in the south, hosted a party @ The Royal American in Charleston, SC celebrating the music and food of Louisiana. With Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience and Chef John Besh bringing the flavors of LA to SC, they set the stage for Louisiana Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne, his wife Cathy and other state and regional tourism officials to show off their cultural assets. Needless to say the guests were very responsive and we’re pretty sure the message of Louisiana was heard loud and clear. *NY Times.
