This year The State of Louisiana Office of Tourism under Lt. Gov Jay Dardenne, declared 2013 as The Year of Music. However as the Lt. Governor knows there are two main reasons visitors by the millions pour into the Pelican State- Food and Music. From our POV, that would make every year The Year of Music. Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission decided they would also use this valuable cultural asset of music as a focus to their own marketing. We were flattered when they reached out to us and are honored to represent the Lafayette area along with Marc Broussard and other favorite sons and daughters.
