What Louisiana Music is All About: Dockside Sessions

CD’s come and CD’s go in the 6 disc player in my car but the Dockside Sessions always remains!

Kevin Inman, New Jersey

A couple months ago we released “Dockside Sessions” named after the famed Dockside Studio on the Vermilion River in Maurice, Louisiana. This was just one way we could show our love and appreciation for the sacrifices DS proprietors Steve and Wish Nails have made all for the cause of Louisiana music.  Did we mention how grateful we are for the support of critics and fans/friends of the band? We mos def are: extremely and forever. “Everybody knows, especially record labels, that for maximum exposure the time to get that CD out is during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 26-28 and May 2-May 5). The reviews here are from two artists who know how to put on a great show every time they hit a stage. Their vibes translate to their albums too with an outpouring of fun, talent and affection. Jazz man Kermit Ruffins and zydeco hot-shot Terrance Simien are both the real deal and what Louisiana music is all about.”  By Geraldine Wyckoff, Contributing Writer, Louisiana Weekly, Your Multicultural News Medium
