When we heard Folk Alliance was coming back to New Orleans, we got busy. Our manager|agent, Cynthia S. connected Folk Alliance leadership with Lafayette Consolidated Government and then brought in Lafayette Travel (tourism) which led LEDA – Lafayette Economic Development Authority to join in and also became a sponsoring partner.
This effort and these connections resulted in the first ever official Lafayette showcase at this conference. We’ll be there with the full band showcasing with some of the most notable zydeco and Cajun music bands.
Terrance will also be a panelist for a conversation about how zydeco sits comfortably alongside some of the most notable in Folk and Roots music at some of the most notable Folk and Roots music festivals all over the world.
